The exam lasts 2 hours. The exam is based on the following learning targets. Please note that a valid PHPP license is needed to register for the exam, as a PHPP is required to design Passive House buildings.
Format: The exam consists of two parts: multiple choice tasks and practical input in PHPP-like tables.
Homework: As a pre-request for the PHPP Expert exam, students must first successfully complete a homework assignment (setting up a PHPP for a non-residential building), which will be reviewed by Peel PHC. Students must complete the homework 2 weeks before exam, email training@peelpassivehouse.ca for homework information.
